Counselor’s Corner – Crisi Tekemska

One thing the campers have really enjoyed this summer is getting to spend time at the Preston Center! It’s always a fun way to break up the week, and there’s never a shortage of things to do.

The kids have been able to play volleyball, football, racquetball, swim, and overall be active with their friends. Some campers jump right into a game, while others are trying something new for the first time! No matter what activity they choose, everyone seems to find something they enjoy.

Swimming has definitely been a favorite. With the summer heat, the pool is always the first place many campers want to go. Between swimming, playing pool games, and spending time with friends, it’s easy to see why they look forward to it so much.

One of the best parts of these trips is seeing campers interact outside of their usual groups. Whether they’re teaming up for a volleyball game or cheering each other on during a racquetball match, it’s been great to watch new friendships form!

By the time we leave, the kids are usually exhausted but already asking when we get to come back. The Preston Center has been a great addition to our summer and has given campers the chance to stay active, have fun, and make some great memories along the way.
