Counselor’s Corner – Addy Dunn

We have reached the end of the second week of classes, and VAMPY life is in full swing. We had a full week of activities and surprises, and we ended Friday night with our first dance!

Campers gathered in the Great Hall after a day of classes and optionals. Tables and chairs were pushed aside, the lights were lowered, and music filled the room as everyone danced and sang along. There were glow sticks, classic hits, and plenty of room to jump around and celebrate the end of a great week!

Campers also lounged in the lobby for some quieter time, making friendship bracelets, reading, and playing games with each other. A group of campers also gathered around to watch the World Cup game of Ghana vs. Columbia.

After finishing the dance with a few fan favorite songs, campers headed upstairs to go to bed— only to wake up this morning to a day of donuts on the lawn, VAMPY Convention, Fourth of July fireworks, and more!

Happy Saturday!
