Our campers are having a blast during Community Time! After getting to enjoy more structured activities during optionals, campers get to spread out and spend some time with the friends they’ve made from different floors. Counselors are set up in common areas like the lobby, Great Hall, and outside to watch campers as they let out some energy and socialize. In the Den, the most popular area for Community Time, there is a ping pong table, a foosball table, air hockey, a piano, building materials, books, and plenty of room to hang out and enjoy the end of the day together. Between fierce ping pong competition, campers cheering at the sidelines, and collaborative music always sounding from the piano and drums nearby, it’s never a dull moment in the Den! In the lobby, you can find campers working on their friendship bracelets and talking about their days. Last night, outside, volleyball was the reigning activity, with some campers simply sitting to enjoy the cooling nighttime air. Once campers have had plenty of time to see all of their friends and enjoy the different activities, they check in with counselors to head to their wings for the night. We can’t wait for more days of Community Time!
