As the end of the week is winding down, campers are looking forward to the activities of the weekend and reflecting on the adventures of the week. The past five days have been packed with bonding experiences through optionals, community time, and hall time; the weekend will be filled with more opportunities to relax and enjoy the company of fellow campers without the structure of formal activities.

Tonight, VAMPY campers will enjoy pizza at RedZone before spending a few hours at the Preston Center. While there, students will be able to participate in a number of active games, swim, or relax in the lobby over a game of cards. The evening will wrap up with movies being shown on floors. Tomorrow is VAMPY Olympics. Counselor group pairs will compete in a number of events to earn points for designated countries. (Go Canada!) It is sure to be a true match of athleticism and wit.

The past week of camp has marked the beginning of an amazing three weeks. Fourth years are relishing in their last year and the first years are growing to love the camp that the rest of us already hold so dearly. I am really looking forward to getting to know all of the campers over the next two weeks and seeing all of them grow!
