Teacher’s Talk: Greek Mythology – Day 3

What a day! Students had the opportunity to read and discuss several Greek myths today. The best part, however, was when they got to show off their acting skills! As a group, they chose their favorite myth. Once their favorite myth was chosen, they discussed and planned a skit for the rest of the class. We had ponchos being used as dresses, construction paper swords and clubs, a balloon hat as Hades’ crown, chairs arranged as caves and the labyrinth, and beautifully drawn pictures representing tapestries. These kids are so talented!! Looking forward to another great day tomorrow!

  1. Sounded like another wonderful learning experience. Can’t wait to talk to Sarah to see which was her favorite myth!
