Gatton Academy, Center for Gifted Studies celebrate expansion

A generous gift from Carol Martin “Bill” Gatton is making possible the expansion of Florence Schneider Hall, home to The Center for Gifted Studies and The Carol Martin Gatton Academy of Mathematics and Science. The expansion was celebrated May 6 in a ceremony that included Gatton, Gov. Steve Beshear, WKU President Gary Ransdell, and other special guests.

Captivating speakers from a variety of industries and backgrounds spoke on topics related to the theme of “Ideas, Innovation, Invention” during IdeaFestival Bowling Green March 20 at the Downing Student Union at WKU.
Super Saturdays Week Four

The last week of Winter Super Saturdays brought a flurry activity for classes on campus at WKU and at the Kentucky Science Center in Louisville. In the Egyptology class, students mummified teddy bears.
