A generous gift from Carol Martin “Bill” Gatton is making possible the expansion of Florence Schneider Hall, home to The Center for Gifted Studies and The Carol Martin Gatton Academy of Mathematics and Science. The expansion was celebrated May 6 in a ceremony that included Gatton, Gov. Steve Beshear, WKU President Gary Ransdell, and other special guests.

Construction will begin after the current school year, and the building is scheduled to reopen before the fall 2016 semester. The Center for Gifted Studies will be housed in Tate Page Hall during the construction. Read more about the expansion on the WKU news site.
