Monday was all about fiction. Our theme for the day was, “Good writers challenge themselves.” We began the class by solving a crime, then proceeded to write a “Challenge” short story. This involved starting a fiction piece, then a challenge would be issued (for example, add a color in right now). They completed 10 challenges in a set time period. It was amazing how many different genres of fiction were represented when we completed the activity. The class took notes over the elements of fiction from A-Z. We also went to the lab and explored more poetry in Hormone Jungle. Another successful day!
