Located on the Western Kentucky University campus in Bowling Green, Kentucky, The Center for Gifted Studies has been serving children who are gifted and talented, their educators, and their parents for nearly thirty years. The Center provides exciting educational opportunities for gifted young people, rigorous professional development for teachers, and support for parents of gifted young people. Under the direction of Dr. Julia Roberts, The Center has become one of the preeminent advocates for gifted education in the United States.
The Center believes that when gifted young people meet their extraordinary potential, our communities, our state, our nation—even our world—become better places. That is why each school year, The Center renews its commitment to encouraging excellence by providing quality programming and resources for gifted students, their teachers, and their parents.
Hi, I am an American independent college admissions advsior living and working in China. I am very interested in learning more about your program and the possibility of putting together a group of kids to study in your English program this summer. I am 13 hours ahead of EST, but am happy to be contacted on my Vonage line.
Hello, Tess,
Thank you for your inquiry about our summer programs. I will be happy to talk with you via email or by phone if that would be best. Our programs are described at http://www.wku/gifted – SCATS (6th-8th graders) and VAMPY (7th-10th graders). Please let me know if you have questions.
Best.
Julia
