The final day of classes at VAMPY 2012 featured some exciting activities that the students won’t soon forget. In Chinese, students invaded other classes with drums, a fan and a dragon in tow. That’s right – several students stood under a traditional Chinese dragon costume and danced for members of other classes. Over in Nazi Germany class, young litigators flexed their legal muscles during the trial of Adolf Hitler. Finally, those students in Humanities broke into groups for a final assignment that involved creating a work of art inspired by a piece they’d read in class.

My Chinese class absolutely loved the dragon dance and some of the students from other classes followed us and sneaked under the dragon. Well, they did not have our red dragon t-shirt and could not make the team. Sorry! It was a lot of fun!
