Counselor’s Corner: Stormy Skies and Lightning Bolts

Yesterday was a great day for SCATS 2012 as all of the campers scurried off to their classes eager to learn.  After the classes came another exciting part of day — the optional activities put on by counselors.  Campers had the option to play Ultimate Frisbee or soccer, learn how to play the card game Magic, make bracelets, or participate in a number of other activities.  When the much-needed rain arrived, however, stormy conditions drove us inside.  Instead of what was planned, we took our cue from the storm and found another lightning bolt — the one on Harry Potter’s forehead.  Each of the dorms played a movie for the campers’ entertainment and everyone stayed dry.  It was a great time, and the weather appears to be agreeing with us today.
