Hello, everyone! I’m Alyssa Heeke, and I’ll be teaching the “Age of Exploration” classes at SCATS. Currently, I am an elementary teacher working toward my Masters degree at WKU. I’m married, and I have one daughter, Ella, who is 5 months old.
During my class, we will learn about European explorers and how their journeys affected history. We will debate positive and negative effects of their explorations, and we will draw conclusions about how these explorers affected history and how history may have changed if the circumstances had been different.
