Teacher’s Talk: Physics (Final Week)

It’s our last week here in the Physics class, and we’ve wrapped up nearly a year’s worth of material in just three weeks!

On Monday, we covered mirrors and lenses in our optics unit.  Tuesday, Mr. Lee took the students over to Warren Central High school for the Infamous Wave Show. The kids learned in detail about waves with lasers, music, fire, and various other interesting things. Our class sat in with the Math class on Wednesday for their “Seeing Sounds” lecture. Bruce Kessler used math and his guitar to show how to graph sound waves. Thursday was our day to study nuclear physics. Students learned how about half-lifes, decay, and energy. On Friday, we threw a class party and watched the movie Day One.
