My name is Seung-Yen, and I am very excited to have returned to The Center for Gifted Studies after attending four years of VAMPY in 2004-2007. A recent graduate of Duke University, I double majored in Public Policy Studies and Economics. I served as a Resident Assistant at Duke for three years, and this is my first year as a counselor for The Center. During camp, I go by my nickname, “Sunny,” which was given to me by one of my classmates during VAMPY.
In my spare time, I enjoy playing the piano, following current events, and engaging in community service. In August, I will be starting my full-time position at the Boston Consulting Group’s Washington, DC office. Through SCATS and VAMPY this summer, I hope to contribute to creating a meaningful community and to share my interests with bright individuals. I look forward to getting to know everyone!
