Ms. Logsdon’s Writing Class Day 7: Students Learn About Chinese Culture

VAMPY Writing ClassI think I learned more today than I have on other days at VAMPY. First, we saw the Chinese class perform an ancient myth. It was really interesting to see a real Chinese myth acted-out by our peers. It was cool to see how other cultures differ from my own. I am looking forward to acting out our own piece of Kentucky history for the Chinese class. It’s nice to have time to be creative and get to know all of my classmates so well.

I also really liked looking at personal letters and pictures from Robert Penn Warren. Before today, I didn’t know who he was. I learned a lot, but it was a fun way to learn about culture from the 1920’s to the 1980’s and how America has changed since then. Today was a really good day, and I look forward to the next week and a half.
