Hey everybody! Today is Friday, and I am super excited about the weekend. It’s going to be a great time for all the campers to spend more time playing, learning, and catching up on their sleep.
Tonight, we are all going over to the Preston Center where there are lots of sports areas (including basketball, tennis, track, etc). I am most looking forward to the pool, since I have not been swimming for about three years now. Many of the kids I have talked to are looking forward to swimming as well, especially considering how hot and humid it has been the last couple of days.
So far I have been super proud of all my campers! They have all been acting very prompt, responsible, and reliable. I am also very happy to see that no one has been homesick, although they all have been very diligent about checking in with their parents about every other day.
Speaking of which, happy Father’s Day to all the dads with kids away at camp! I’m sure they’ll all be thinking of you on Sunday.
