Toward the end of the day, students spend a little time around the building doing a variety of different activities of their choice. Out in the field near the building, campers can play kickball or just pass around a football or soccer ball. Inside, we have many talented pianists playing tracks from their favorite shows, movies, and video games. In the Great Hall, we’ve seen TV shows like The Disastrous Life of Saiki K. and Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir

Up in the fourth floor den is where it gets really active. There, campers watch the NBA playoffs and play table tennis, Magic: The Gathering, and Dungeons & Dragons. Students are very passionate about these pursuits and love the chance to share them with others. The third floor is more of a quiet zone. Since other areas can get pretty noisy, this spot is great for our students who enjoy a little quiet time after all the day’s events.

Community Time doesn’t last long, but it’s great for campers. Because students have a variety of needs, the counselors work hard to find the right balance between indoors and outdoors, loud and quiet. We think Community Time has become something that everyone can enjoy.
